You should not add raisins to recipes dry [final photo]
Used straight from the packet raisins are too dry and hard.

Step by step recipe:


Its preferable to soak them 4 - 5 minutes in boiling water, during which they will swell. [Photo of step #1]
Then cool under cold water. [Photo of step #2]
And finally dry them on absorbant paper. [Photo of step #3]
Remove any small stalks that remain. [Photo of step #4]
You can also soak them for about one hour in rum, or other alcohol of your choice. [Photo of step #5]
