Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 2 min.
Greek style sandwiches
Place 4 slices bread on a baking sheet.

Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).

Stage 2 - 2 min.
Greek style sandwiches
Rub the top of each slice with ½ tomato to soak up the tomato juice.

Stage 3 - 5 min.
Greek style sandwiches
Spread a layer of pesto on each slice of bread.

Stage 4 - 5 min.
Greek style sandwiches
Spread the feta cheese on top.

Stage 5 - 2 min.
Greek style sandwiches
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with thyme.

Stage 6 - 10 min.
Greek style sandwiches
Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Enjoy warm or cold.
Remarks
If you don't have purple pesto, use pesto sauce instead.

For a crispier texture, you can toast the toast in the toaster before rubbing it with the tomato.
